Cell Sorter – Nanocellect WOLF G2

Cell Sorter – Nanocellect WOLF G2

The WOLF G2 is benchtop microfluidic sterile cell sorter. It offers best in class iPSC Clonal Outgrowth. Ideal for fragile cell such as stem cells, protoplasts, diatoms, neurons.

The WOLF G2 has significantly expanded the capabilities of gentle benchtop microfluidic cell sorting. It comprises of two lasers and up to nine colours, while maintaining simple workflows for either bulk sorting or single-cell dispensing.

Single-cell sorting can be completed in 96- or 384-well plates when using the WOLF G2 in conjunction with the N1 Single-Cell Dispenser. For temperature sensitive samples, there is an optional Chiller Stirrer module, the CS1.

The WOLF G2 is a hight versatile, user friendly, flexible and easy to use system. It is designed for non-cytometry experts who are able to get meaningful sorts with less than a day’s training.

This flexibility in performance, along with the additional abilities of the second laser, makes it ideal for use in many different research fields and application areas like single-cell genomics, cell line development, gene editing, antibody discovery, immunology, infectious disease, basic research, and more.

  • iPSCs – understand how tissues form from single cells to develop better treatment outcomes for e.g. cancer
  • novel cell lines for research – cell ‘factories’ that can be planted into humans to improve human health, e.g. regenerate eyes, kindneys, liver, etc
  • plant biologist – to sort protoplasts which are the building blocks of plants. As the population of our planet grows, we need to be able to find ways of feeding people in different types of climate. Being able to genetically enhance protoplasts will enable farms to be more efficient. Plants can even be grown by a ‘vertical farming’ method in warehouses using very little water and soil and better environmental control
  • marine biologists are interested in the WOLF and VERLO as they can determine the health of an ecosystem such as an ocean, river or estuary by the population of diatoms (tiny microscopic species). They can also monitor the level of plastics or oil pollution to determine how to improve these environments
  • immunologists e.g. for antibody discovery and infectious disease research
  • gene editing – geneticists can isolate pure strains for enhancing the genetic make up of cells, plants, animals and humans

NEW FOR 2025

The VERLO allows you to sort cells you can see.

The gentle sorting of the WOLF G2 coupled with the imaging capabilities offers new applications which aren’t possible with conventional sorters or imagers. These include:

  1. Cell to cell interactions
  2. Organelle staining and
  3. Label free characterisation of cell structures
