3D culture systems, like spheroids and organoids, represent useful in vitro models for drug screening and, more broadly, for disease modelling. The possibility to characterize spheroid’s biophysics would considerably increase the knowledge of critical factors in 3D biology, such as cellular density and size-dependent mass transport
